Find our booth at C.A.R.E. (Community Awareness Registration Night) and learn about the Bear Essentials when camping & recreating in Alberta Parks, along with all the fun programs offered in-Park through the upcoming summer weeks.
This is a great community event showcasing various clubs, sports groups, and will have Live music and interactive booths for everyone to enjoy.
Indigenous Peoples Day

Find our booth at Indigenous People Day celebration hosted by Lac La Biche County & Portage College at McArthur Park with our display of Mammals of the Boreal Forest.
Everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating the indigenous peoples of Turtle Island. There will be a light meal along with dancing and musical showcases.
Celebrating Pollinators
Saturday, June 21: 10:30am—12:00pm
Amphitheatre (Campground Loop C)
Join a Park Interpreter and learn about the important role that pollinators have in the Park. Discover who pollinators are, and why their work is so important. Even try your hand at catching some bugs, or spotting some birds, and see if you can identify them!
Art in the Park
Saturday, June 21: 2:30pm—4:00pm
Amphitheatre (Campground Loop C)
Take some time with your family and enjoy a peaceful afternoon outside while creating a keepsake to capture your visit to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park or your favourite plant or animal from the park.
All Alberta Parks interpretive family programming is on a drop-in basis and for park visitors of all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
