Peter Lougheed Park Discovery & Information Centre

Select roads, campgrounds, day-use areas, trails, and areas of Kananaskis Country will be temporarily closed before, during, and after the 2025 G7 Leaders’ Summit in June. Check for closures before you go.

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

Information

    Discovery Centre Services:

    • WiFi is accessible from outside the building while closed
    • All facilities including the information counter, interpretive museum, Meadowview Lounge, High Country Theatre and flush toilets are open to the public when the centre is open
    • Trail reports and other information will be available at the Kiosk in the Upper Parking Lot and on the electronic display in the front windows.
